The Gallery is a mobile app designed for quilters, vendors, beginners and seasoned artists, helping them to store, organize, and share their creations, tools, and patterns with ease. It offers a dedicated space for vendors to showcase their catalogues and connect directly with customers. More than just an organizational tool, The Gallery is a vibrant, collaborative community where quilters can inspire, learn, and grow together.

Problem Statement

The client approached Branex with the vision to build an intuitive, scalable, and collaborative mobile and web platform tailored for the sewing and quilting community. The core goal was to create a mobile application where:

Users (quilters/sewing enthusiasts) could browse, store, and share quilt designs, tools, and patterns.
Vendors could showcase their quilt catalogues and reach potential customers through a dedicated vendor dashboard.
The mobile app would serve as a hub for creativity, learning, collaboration, and purchasing quilting products or services.

Project Expectations

The project faced several key challenges that needed to be addressed to create a functional and user-friendly platform. First, there was no centralized solution that combined vendor catalogue management with community-sharing features tailored for quilters. This meant designing a system from scratch that could bridge both needs.

Vendor onboarding also required careful attention, as a secure verification process was essential before granting access to manage catalogues. Managing subscriptions presented another challenge; there had to be a reliable model to control user access based on payment status.

Additionally, the platform needed to ensure a responsive and consistent UI/UX across a wide range of devices and screen sizes. Building community features such as ratings, contact options, and notifications was crucial to enable smooth interaction between customers and vendors.

Lastly, a powerful and flexible admin panel was necessary to oversee vendors, handle subscriptions and user inquiries, and manage static content dynamically.
