RescueTime lite is free; however premium version comes with additional features, including ability to block websites, more detailed reporting & costs $72 per year.
OmniFocus is another brilliant app that keeps you on track. It notifies you what is due & when and syncs that to your mobile phone & desktop. It might seem to be pricey app at first, but after you try it & analyze the bright side, it will be worth a purchase. The standard iOS version costs $39.99 for standard & $79.99 for pro version. This app is compatible to iPhone, iPads, Mac & Apple Watch.
Tripit combines all your travels plans into a single interface, master itinerary tjthat you can access at any time & on any device, regardless of the website you used to pruchase your ticket. Only thing you need to do is to forward all your emails to Tripit & rest will be taken care of.
The basic app is free, but Tripit pro costs $49 per year & Tripit team costs $29 per month which can manage 10 users. Both plans are for 30-day trial period. The app works on I’phone, iPads, Android, and Windows Phone 7, as well as Mac & Desktop PC.
Expensify will keep track of your expenses without giving you any pain. You can link your credit card with the app so the app can send receipts directly into your expense report. If you do nor prefer this, you can always take pictures of your recipients with your phone, & Expensify will automatically extract the relevant information. After that you can make expense report yourself.
Expensify costs $5 per month per active account for team users & $9 per month per active for corporate users. Companies with more than 1,000 employees can get custom pricing. The app works on all the phones, including iPhone, Windows Phone, Android and on all desktops.
Square: This payment app is ideal for small businesses or Entrepreneurs who are just starting out. The users a small device which when attached to a device or phone can swap & take payments.
For a regular exchange, it charges 2.75% of every transaction. However manually entered transactions cost 3.5% plus 15 cents per transaction. The best thing about Square is that it is free & it works on all operating systems.
Slack, is an enterprise messaging app with over three billion daily active users. It has widely become popular with its institutive looks and collaboration features.
However, don’t think you will be able to use Slack right away – your team needs at least a week to know all the features. Once done this app can save you lot of overlapping between co-workers.
For instance, instead of going through all the emails for a particular conversation you can only use the Slack search tool to get to your desired email.
Slack users saw 48.6% fewer internal emails and held 25.1% fewer meetings after installing and using the app, leading to a 32% overall increase in productivity, according to a company survey.
You can try Slack for free, but upgrading to a paid plan gives you more features and controls. The standard plan costs $8 per month for each user and comes with a full archive of your team’s message history, unlimited app integration, guest access and group calls.
Fuze is a video conferencing app that hosts online meetings for all devices and operating systems, including new versions for iPads and tablets, such as the Samsung Galaxy. It offers high-definition video and crisp audio, and it is easy to set up and free to download. Small-business owners can contact the company for custom pricing.
Proven helps you organize your hiring by allowing you to post your job listings to multiple job boards at once. You can sort through dozens of application responses in just a few minutes; categorize applicants into yes, no & maybe, and notify the follow up with a candidate.
More than 1,000 businesses currently use the platform. It is an especially good fit for companies that have sporadic hiring needs, such as restaurants and retail, or any entrepreneur who juggles multiple business tasks and needs to save time on recruitment.
Proven is free to download on iOS and Android. The cost to use the platform depends on the number of jobs you need to post and boards to which you need to post them, as well as whether you opt for premium job boards. Pricing starts at $40 to $60 per job listing, and the more jobs you post, the lower you’re cost per listing.
BoxmeUp: A free Android app, Boxmeup organizes and tracks your packages and containers. It allows you to print the proper QR labels, which you can scan with your phone to access a list of items in each container at any time. There’s no iPhone app, but you can access Boxmeup’s mobile website using an iPhone.
